The Axmouth to Lyme Regis Undercliffs National Nature Reserve has been called "one of the wildest and most unspoilt tracts of country for its size in England". Its remarkable cliff face is home to some of the most important invertebrate habitats in the country, such as the Spider-hunter Wasp and a Mining Beerestricted to the Jurassic Coast.
